Modificando los headers con PHP

No siempre se necesita enviar los headers por defecto al generar una página con PHP. Uno de los secretos para hacer sencillas cosas complicadas es el correcto manejo de los headers. Quizás el modo más común de un header es escribir directamente en el HTML un redirect para que salte a otra página en X segundos, pero eso y más se puede controlar desde PHP como se puede ver en ésta página.

Podemos ver que un uso inteligente de los headers que se generan desde PHP puede servirnos además de para redirigir el tráfico, para control de acceso, cambiar el idioma, controlar la caché, controlar correctamente las descargas, el tipo mime, etc...

Siempre es bueno tener una chuleta como ésta a mano.
